ANN ARBOR, Michigan – March 18, 2011 – Management Insight Analytics [Visiun] announces the deployment of the Performance Insight™ Dashboard for the Henry Ford Hospital Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Detroit Michigan.
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, founded in 1917, is a corporate level service line overseeing clinical laboratory testing at all hospitals and clinic delivery sites of the Henry Ford Health System. It is composed of 42 senior staff pathologists and clinical and research scientists, complemented by 780 technical staff, who annually perform more than 12 million clinical laboratory tests. This is one of the largest hospital-based clinical laboratories in the nation with anatomic pathology volumes over 80,000 surgical pathology cases, 2,500 frozen sections, 85,000 cytology specimens and over 200 post mortem examinations a year.
