Our Commitment to Privacy

We are committed to the privacy of our visitors. While visiting our website, we will not collect any personal information about you unless you choose to provide that information to us. If you choose to provide this information, it will be used for the purposes established by this policy. By continuing to use this website, you agree to the use of your information as outlined below and the terms of this Privacy Policy.

The Information We Collect and What we do with Your Information

When you visit our website, we collect certain types of data automatically. For instance, we collect information such as your IP address, the pages you visit on our website, the date and time when you visit the website, the URL that referred you to our website, and the device that you use to visit the website. The data collected does not identify you and is used to improve our website’s performance and appearance and to determine demographic information about our visitors. We may use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect such data. More information about Google Analytics, including how to opt-out of Google Analytics’ services, is available here. In addition, when you choose to contact us for more information, we collect certain personal information such as your name, email, and address. The information allows us to respond to your questions promptly and efficiently. We also use the information you submit for marketing purposes such as emails to inform you about new products and other information about the company. If you do not want to receive such emails, please contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below or unsubscribe using the link contained in the email you receive.  We may also be required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including those intended to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

Notice and Choice

You have a right to access you personal data as well as to correct, amend, or delete information where it is inaccurate or has been processed in violation of the Principles, subject to exceptions allowed by law or where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to the individual's privacy, or where the rights of persons other than the individual would be violated.  You may use the Contact Us link on this web site to make such a request, as long as you include acceptable proof of your identity.

Our marketing emails tell you how to "opt-out" of receiving further marketing emails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-marketing emails. Non-marketing emails include emails about your accounts and our business dealings with you.  You may also request that your data be removed or corrected by making such a request using the Contact Us link on this web site.

We do not routinely transfer personal information to third parties. If such a situation does arise, Visiun's accountability for personal data that it receives under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party is described in the Privacy Shield Principles. In particular, Visiun remains responsible and liable under the Privacy Shield Principles if third-party agents that it engages to process the personal data on its behalf do so in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless Visiun proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.  To learn more about the Privacy Shield program, and to view our certification, please visit www.privacyshield.gov.
